Hi everyone,

Thought I'd make a fresh announcement so you didn't miss it, LOL. I've finished the "Girl in Ginko" painting.

Detailed view of the lips and also how the Ginko looks. This is a pretty true colour reading of the ginko.

Congratulations! You must feel a great sense of accomplishment. Thank you for showing your stages as you worked on this. I always feel like I learn alot following along with a another artist. The composition is very nice. I know there was some discussion about the prominence of the leaves. I like the ginko leaves (which are very nicely rendered). They add a sense of the girl's shyness.

I just wanted to drop a line to say it is a wonderful piece..Your attention to details are amazing..I have just spent the past 5 minutes just looking at how you rendered her face and the details of the leaves..Very inspiring to someone like me who is starting out...Thanks for posting this!
