Encaustic on watercolor paper with xerox tranfers and oil bar. Stitched.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
The first one I did and then I thought deeded a bit more definition to the bodies, so I went back in today, which is the 2nd photo. Did I screw it up? What are you thoughts overall?

Hi Floopy,
While I'm not sure of the technique or the process the end result is fascinating. Real stitches?
The second photo has more siennas, more texture, more highlights all to the better. What was your reason for positioning the bodies so near the edges?

I like this, it is provoking and different, it is also pleasing to look at. only point I would raise is about the size. I have a feeling that this would look even better in reality if it were a lot bigger, I could see this on a wall as four imperial sheets.
Best wishes, Ken..

Yep, real stitches Spyder! Man, this was a huge jump from the size i did last week(?). Almost 4X the size. I like the finished product, but these are very time comsuming. I would love to do them HUGE, but I would need so much encaustic I would be living in a cardboard box. Maybe I can think of a different way... Anyway, I positioned the bodies that way so that they would seem to vary bepween "figures" and "graphic elements". Thanks for your time!
