This painting is another version of 'Huron Shore - Bayfield', which I posted last year. It is on 10 x 14" canvas board. The gold oxide, thinned with clear gel and a touch of water, was glazed on last to create an atmospheric effect.

The light on that bank of cloud near the horizon ? .... magic!
Yes - the light on the sail is reminiscent of the great man :D

Very impressionistic. I love the palette you used. You have a wonderful color sense.

I agree with Objectivistartist. The first thing I thought was Turner. Well done.

Lovely colours, looks like a real Carribean sea with that light turquoise abruptly turning dark & the gold works a treat, also loving those pink clouds

Oooohhh super. I agree the sky near the horizon makes the whole painting. Nice work and I like that idea of brushing the gold oxide at the end.
