I am back from a cruise and I have been painting a lot of beach scenes and needed to take a break. I did a smaller version of this nest for a friend but wanted to try it larger. It is 9x12 on LaCarte. Any comments are welcome so I can make improvements. Thanks for looking!!

Glad you're back... I always get so excited when I see that you've posted and I was not disappointed. I really like it... love the way you did the background tree, so softly muted and the colors in the nest are wonderful.

Oh Karen, this is beautiful! Makes me long for spring, especially when the wind chill here in the triad drops the temperature to single digits! I'd love to see you do a work in progress so we can watch how you do these wonderful paintings!

I've been posting my caribbean paintings on my blog

Hi Karen,

I keep forgetting about your blog so I strolled on over for a look... Wonderful paintings!!! I especially liked "Magens Bay Morning" and the little ACEO Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Keep them coming... can hardly wait for figures to start showing up. You really are so good at that!
