Hi all, So glad I found these forums! Ok, here is my deal. I am 42 years old. I have my AAS in visual art(photography) that I got about 6 years ago. Photography is my love, but at 42 I wanted my Bachelors in a hurry, so I went to a college that had an accelerated degree program and got my B.S in Organizational Management, Nothing to do with art, but only a 1 year program 2 nites a week if going in with an Associates. My GPA on my AAS was 2.6(I used to drink alot, LOL) and my GPA in my Bachelors is 3.4
Now I decide I want to pursue my true interest of photography so I apply to the Masters of Fine Art at SVA in NYC. I have lots of photo classes from my AAS, and art history 1, and 2, but I may not have all the art history classes I need. My portfolio is great though. I got alot of positive input on that. So my question is, at my age, with my education background, what do you think my chances of being accepted are????
