Working on my layering technique and learning to add different materials to the paint to get more texture.

The textures and colors in this are great! At first glance it was like I'm seeing an ancient fish fossil with irridescent bubbles floating above.

Love the gauze effect,,,,and the area of warmth to the left
is a very nice touch!

interesting work...I see so many images in this....
earth's core...like something organic.

I love to see media mixed to put out a point. This has such intrigue. I'm only slightly bothered by a 'fight' between what appears to be overworked (on the right) versus underworked (on the left). But the orange effect through the gauze on the left is very very nice.

i think the title doesn't fit though.
i dont see resemblance to earths core, for one.
and it looks way more figurative, for two.

Lynx, ancient fossils. I like that...it is what the earth's core is made up of...

Wilson and Bama....thank you for your positive comments.

Darabos, do you think SPORES would be more appropo for the title?
That was the original idea for a title but when I thought about it...and the way we all view germs in this day and time...that title made me think it was too negative.

Thanks for the input Smile...trying to see this through your eyes.

I appreciate the time for eveyone's postings and giving me another way for me to look at my work.

very nice effect.

find it has even greater impact with more 'white' at the bottom of the page-basically it came up on my screen cropped just above the 'leg'.
