1st Still Life

Decided to try a hand in still life today. This is oil on canvas, 9"x12". Yax

Pity about the scissors, they seem to want to take my eye right out the side of the painting.

Very nice still life.
I like the concept of having the scissors in the painting.
To me it adds to the feel of the piece.
Perhaps a bit smaller or in a different position.
It does have a good feel to it.
