Today I mostly work with oils, but after reading the posts in this forum I thought I'd share some of my works. Both pieces are semi-abstract (or something and should not be considered a snapshot of real life! Mimic it perhaps, but not resemble it completely. I really don't know!

Comment away :)

These are striking images but full of emotion and a story behind. I think they are very effective.
Welcome to WC.

Thank both of you for your comments!

I guess most of the things that I do seem to make some people feel a bit uneasy - and sometimes nervous, yes. :) I guess my work have evolved to target those feelings over the years. I really don't know why.

At the same time I feel most of my own work more soothing than upsetting. But that's only my opinion.

The truth will always lie in the eye of the beholder.

Wow creepy but good. I'm glad I looked at them in the morning and not at night.

Thanks for the comments! I really hope the pieces didn't make you feel too disgusted. It wasn't my intention anyway...

I'm diggin' that "Welcome Home" piece. Especially the exaggerated proportions and the texture.

yeah.... what they all said and more. I do not think I want these hanging above my dining room table as i sip my morning coffee and listen to mozart, but... I am sitting in a coffee shop even now where these images would be framed, hung and sold.

Powerful imagery.
