Good one, Kirk! Would it be better it you didn't outline the shadowed portion of his face?

Thanks for your comments and suggestion!

I tried this one both ways and it really looked better with the outlines left in the image. I am not sure why but they looked washed out when I removed the outlines.

I like this very much, but his hair bothers me. It looks totally different from the rest of the work.

I agree with Tx, fill coloring looks fine, but the hair is the only place in the piece that is a texture fill and takes away from the over all piece in my opinion.

Thank you all for your comments. I see what you mean about the only texture in the piece except for the small amount at the bottom and left side. Good eyes! I will consider this for future works. :)

Kirk, to me this is one of the most appealing images you have done, in my opinion. I would just crop that dark grey at the bottom and left side and maybe give it a full frame. I like the combination of textures: the softness of the vector with the hair texture. I like the outlines too. I like this very much.

Janet, thank you so much! This is high praise from you. I will consider the framing of it as a better presentation. What type of frame, textured or colors did you have in mind? - Kirk

This is a nice graphic Kirk! I agree with the hair looking better as a solid fill, but even with that point, wanted to say what a nice job!!

Well, maybe a metallic grey frame, but without texture. Pay particular attention to where you put the reflections on the frame though.
