Made a start on this challenge over on P.B. (first bit of painting I've done this year)

Are the colors accurate from your photo? If so, the skin tones are far too sallow, which is compounded by your use of purples against yellows. You have the background as a cool to warm gradient, which is just making your work harder for you. Pick a temperature for this piece, warm or cool (being half Russian, I'd suggest slightly warm, but NOT yellow/orange predominant, as you currently have it), and stick with it consistently throughout the work.
