I'm trying to a photo of my artwork and the purple mountains look blue. I've had this problem over and over and also blue looking purple. Any help?:crying:

Could you post a sample photo?
Sometimes its necessary to tweak the colors in a editing program.
Which program do you use? That would help if we knew.

Yes, we'd need a bit more information before being able to help here, as well as a sample pic, what camera did you use and what settings?

One of the first things I would like to know is if you are setting the white balance using the existing lighting conditions.

Blue is the most difficult color for a digital camera (or our eyes) to capture.
Moreover, some lighting sources have virtually no blue.
So, my first question would be how are you lighting your artwork. If you are using incandescent bulbs or if the room has normal fluorescent lighting you may have some issues with the lighting.
What is your photo editing program?
Is your printer calibrated? If not, does the picture look right on the screen but not when it's printed?
