View Full Version : Has anyone tried Michael Wilcox oils?

For some reason, I can't get the Search feature to work for me.

I'm trying to locate any recommendations (pro or con) about the oil paints made by Michael Wilcox of the
Michael Wilcox School of Color.

He's the one who wrote the book:
Blue and Yellow Don't Make Green.

If you have ANY comments to share about his oil paints, I'd be most grateful to hear!

I've never tried them, but looking at their prices, they do seem somewhat expensive. For about the same prices or less you could get some paints which you know are good, like Winsor & Newton Artists' line. If you want to do the exercises in his book(s) just check that the pigments are the same.
