Here's another studio work....I liked the original PA but wanted a much warmer glow over the whole thing to play up the suset aspect.

The subtle shifts of color in the brush and grasses is very nice, especially the foreground. Nice touches of flowering buds as well to carry the color into that area. What would you think about punching up the highlights in a few key areas? Catch that late sun's light which can be so strong. You have that great color harmony that admire about your paintings Jan. Good job enlarging this.

Thanks Tim!! Yup I had highlights on the beach rose shrubs on the left in and out several times...just couldn't decide if they were really necessary/added anything to the painting....I guess I'll think about it again, now that your eye is looking for that....might just be a matter of getting the exact color/value in the right place. Come to think of it that's what it always about :lol:
