It's 36"x48" oil in canvas.
I had posted this painting in the figure forum a week or so ago, hope you don't mind that I wanted to see if it would go okay here. Apologize for not contributing much...never seem to have a whole lot to add to things these days :) - but do sneak peeks at the goings on. I'm open to anything that might pop into your mind with this painting...wasn't really aiming for anatomical accuracy, but more for expressing some feelings.
Hope all is well and wonderful in your worlds.

I like the symbolism in this. I'm guessing that the pubic hair and blossoming thighs symbolize the beginning of maturation while still under the protective barrier of innocence.

 love the painting, but it reminds me of something I saw in a film once where someone had a dream that they were walking down the street naked, and woke up screming!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you both fer saying :) fer me, the painting was a manifestation of inner-dialog regarding my own feelings about youth passing...what it means to be "youthful" and then concede to the next stage of life.

This is nice work.
Figure on the right consoling figure on the left,,,,who from her expression, appears to be deperately hanging onto the umbrella of protection.
Appears possibly to be a mother/daughter thing to me.

Hi M-A
You know, I realy like where the ligth is coming from. (the bottom)
It lights people in a way where we are not used to see ....
(Like John Singer Sargent's flamenco dancers (in Boston, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum)
The girl with the umbrella has a very dramatic expression
I like the dripping (experimentation ?) a lot :)
Always good to see your feminine work that is being close and true to you
In a way, your works always reminded me of Alice Neel, and not for representation, nor the technique, but more the subject values...
