First pic reminds of the Morlocks from HG WELLS Time Machine Story. Second pic looks like a budda face. Love them both.

Thanks for the nice comments. The first scupture is my version of a bronze Daruma doll. Daruma dolls are representative of the Indian monk Bodhidharma who is credited with bringing Zen Buddhism to China. Daruma dolls represent good luck and embody perseverance and determination.
The second sculpture is a Noh-style mask of Hotei, often called the Laughing Buddha. His origin began in China and he has become one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese culture.
