Sometimes thoughts get confusing, and can manifest themselves in different ways. This is a concept painting of the idea.

Wonderful rendering. The highlights on the bird's feathers beautifully focus the eye.
What is the concept/idea you are illustrating?

Thanks -

Madster- The idea is about troubled thoughts. I used the crows because throughout antiquity, and superstition they are believed to be the harbingers of bad luck, death, and so on. The man is worried about something, but doesn't really know what.

Hi, Kevin,
Did a raven myself not long ago, and made the deliberate choice to make him a cheerful little bugger, just because of Poe. According to Native American tradition, Crow is the "Keeper of the Magik of life", and since it's month is October, making it my birth totem, I got tired of all the dark stuff associated with it. Oh well, even with all that, this is a well-rendered piece, and I do like your raven.
