Hi everyone:
These are all based off photos from the image library. They are 12x16 inches on canson watercolor paper. Combination of airbrush and paintbrush for the details. Paasche V airbrush. Golden transparent airbrush colors and F&W acrylic inks were used. Some images also crossposted in Animals & Wildlife. Comments and critique welcome.

Control is getting better and better. I have to ask are the photos out of focus or is the painting meant to be fuzzy focus?

Thanks for the comment Slaterza. The photo is out of focus. I have a lousy digital camera.

As far as I am able to comment on these works by the out of focus photographs, I think you've covered the basics well. The detail I suspect is present in the art is quite elaborate. The tools and materials you use is quite capable of this. The Paasche is a wonderful airbrush (my first love in airbrush) and the FW-inks are splendid stuff to work with. If featured on your cam perhaps you could use the self timer. Your color compositions are excellent.

Try taking the pix outside in the sunlight and if you have a tripod that would be even better.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I will try to get better photos next time. I really need a tripod, this camera will blur things with the slightest bit of camera shake. The images are also more detailed than they look here. And I too love the FW inks, they're so intense.
