Painted in Painter 9.5 using Lady Alba's soft impasto brush exclusively, (which is fast becoming my favorite brush). this is a Christmas present for a friend who grows and collects irises. Let me know what you think.

its awesome, thats what I think. i love the depth and the color palette is simply elegant.

This is just stunning!! Wish I could get this kind of work out of that brush LOL just kidding I use it alot too it seems to give that special touch to a painting. Especially when you need a soft touch. :clap: :thumbsup: :wave:

I think the removal of the thicker shape is good, but do not care for the leaf, now. It looks neither here, nor there, merely a semi-blurry object that almost draws attention away from the blossom.
