Very warm painting here. nice job, I'm not strong at lanscape, so cant give any cc, but It looks great to me.

The square format works well.... the angle of the photo makes it seem like the rocks are going to tumble down on the trees...hard for me to imagine that light looks wonderful and unbelievable to someone in the mid west.

I love your pallet, very true to the area. I find the comp very confusing though. To me, this looks like two paintings in one. Your shrubs appear to be trees.The bolders DO look like they are going to tumble down on the trees.
It may be because you put such detail on the midground rocks, and there isn't much detail or deeper colours and shading in your shrubs. Just my opinion. Ann
