the white is watered down gesso.
a clear acrylic varnish is the final coat.

I would love to see the larger piece. Very nice restrained use of the drip method, creating lots of excitement in the blue.

Excellent work. I like the way the different colors push through creating good depth. Didn't take it too far. Just the right amount of interaction between the colors to create an interesting and effective composition. Beautiful.

as a fellow artist who does drip paintings on the occasion, i really enjoy this piece. the color choices are systematic and appropriate and seem as though they are in the perfect places.
when i see this i see a small mountain with a deadly lightning storm over head.
