Hello everyone! I don't usually come to this area. But I recently purchased a painting as a Christmas present. It was done in tempera on a 16 X 20 canvas. The artist is an elephant at the Houston Zoo. Abstract, of course! They had to remove the handle and any metal parts from the brush, because the elephant would sometimes eat the brush after she was done painting. Don't try this at home. Regards!

I've seen very few better abstract paintings recently.

Abstract? There's a man in there, in a white tunic, with blue belt, collar and cuffs, pointing up (?at the sky).

I think you're right! I'll pass this information on to the elephant. She's becoming increasingly concerned that her work is becoming too pictorial.
