Wanted: Critique group in North suburb of Chicago

I am a professional painter in a north suburb of chicago who needs to connect with other artists in the area. I would love to form a critique group that meets bi-monthly. I have my studio in the basement of my house, where we can meet. I'm currently working in acrylics. My work could be classified as organic abstraction, but the group doesn't have to be restricted to abstract artists. Please e-mail me if interested:wave:

hey, there must be some painters in chicago that want to get together to get some feedback on their work and have tea and cakes. i'm a loner too for the most part, but am desperate to get connected to some artists from the area. i'm a school of the art institute of chicago grad, and work from home. i'll post a pic of my studio space as soon as i figure out how to. i had a large space in the indiana dunes, but we moved back to illinois recently :( and now i have a relatively smaller space, but at least i have it. i share it with my husband, but of course i occupy the greater part of it. anyone?

Debbie, u would think I'd get more responses being in a big city and all. It's just u and me girl, just u and me (sigh) Hope we can work something out.
I wish I were in a warmer clime - imagine if we could meet for critiques at a beach or something. Heck, I'll even take a backyard with birds twittering and green blooming trees and plants. Oh, spring, wherefore art thou?
