Every year I seem to do a painting in thi theme:

very nice but the child has a little too much of a pink hue... it distracts.
What I see...
Try adding some very light yellows to the highlights and blending it in overall. Much like you have done with mom. The texture in the blanket kind of distracts me as well. Maybe a gausian blur just on that area with verry light noise would break it up a bit. Every thing else is so soft and delicate.

I like the mother-s rich skin colors, beatiful! :thumbsup: :cool: I like the subject, i also painted it once.

Lovely theme and I too agree with the advice given it will also get rid of that cut and paste look. :wave:

Remember to intensify areas of shadow.
This is a very lovely portrait.
