Ink Elf

This is just something i did tonight while loading up Everquest. Took me about 2 min to draw a pencil sketch, and about 30 min to get all the ink down. Not happy because some of the ink smeared a bit and i could not get all the pencil up becauseof the type of paper i used... oh well... taught me thats what counts.

PS i just noticed how terible the legs came out. Oh well, a learning experience....

Great start for the time involved. Everything takes practice and we all learn from our mistakes. A bit more shading in this and you'll be off to the races :D

I hope you are sharing some of these over in illustration also. I love those ears! lol As artdude mentioned some shading would be effective. How long have you been working in ink?

Let me see... this is my... 3rd or so.

That is 3rd actual drawing that i was trying to do in ink and not just a doodle that i did when i was bord and didnt have a pencil.
