Thanks Dark Shades.
im in ireland and watching david willis on irish paint magic!! it would be so great to have a pastel artist do something bit by bit on tv or a vid - though i know there are some bespoke pastel portrait vids out there.
cheers.
chris.

Chris: I don't know about tv (I think probably not), but in the back of the Pastel Journal there are always advertisements for lots of pastel painting demonstration videos, by a variety of artists. I haven't ever seen any of them, so I can't recommend any, but I'm sure that there are others around here who might be able to suggest one. (If I read your question correctly...your interest is in finding a pastel demo video, right?)

You should try Jackie Simmonds videos (see her partner forum in this forum (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=177)) - they're very good.

And she's much better than Bob Ross! ;)
