A friend of mine does some really awsome pen drawings of old buildings. One day I talked him into giving me a lesson. Here is the result...not great but not bad either.

The splotch is water I think. The yellow tint on the paper is because it was drawn on some scrap printer parchment I had laying around.

I think this is EXCELLENT for a first try at a building Kitaye.

The detail work is great.

This is a good drawing. Have you continued drawing old buildings?

I've doodled around with buildings but I have always done them on scrap paper and they get lost. I can't say that I have sat down to drawa building as an art project(exceptthe lighthouse for an FND several months ago). Probably should get off my butt and try again.

If you ask me, I think that lesson has been a great thing for you. Looks like you are a "quick study" when it comes to rendering buildings. Really like this and hope to see more :D
