Someone on another forum was trying to make a chocolate logo, and one suggestion involved using the Halftone filter to fill a rectangle, with Line as the pattern, and two shades of brown as the colors, to make a chocolate bar version of the logo, with selected type of a matching color.

I liked the idea, and wanted to experiment a bit with it.
Here is my version:

I selected the halftone stripes created by the lighter of the two colors, cut and pasted them on their own layer.
I then applied a bevel and emboss style over it, adjusting the settings to taste.
I created a rectangular selection on a new layer, larger than the striped area, and de-selected another rectangle the size of the stripped one. This was filled with the darker brown color, and a bevel and emboss effect applied to it, also.

I was going to make a wrapper for it, but don't have the time. Too many projects to complete for Christmas.

This is great... reminds me of a 50's advertisment!

Thanks for those links- on my way to check them out.

Glad you like my silliness!
The font is called "Baby Kruffy." I think it is one that came with Photoshop CS2, as I'm not familiar with it.

Buncha Chocoholics talkin', but I don't see any digital chocolate appearin' yet...

Here's a chocolate coin, using an image from the Ref. library, with the emboss filter, and a color overlay layer style. I made the outer ring like I did for the chocolate bar.

C'mon, guys, let's see you make some Christmas chocolate coins!
