College Art Instructors Project Swap and Discussion

Hello!
I'm beinging this thread in hopes of encountering some fellow college level instructors newbies and old school, with interesting approaches to lecture delivery, projects and everything else that falls into our laps.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Amy and I have been teaching for 6 years in elementary, high school, youth adjudication facilities, special needs schools, and a local collge. I teach the fine arts and graphic design.

The fine arts I have down pat, I sure could use a sounding board for bouncing ideas off of regarding my computer art class projects.


Anyone else need a little help??

Some college computer projects ideas:
*Press Kit
*Self Promo
*Annual Report (a section of it as the actual ones are too long)
*Pick and do research on a professional graphic designer (ie. David Carson) and create a 2 page spread adopting that designers style into their own, include a quote by the designer incorporated into a well designed title (practicing typography) and min. half a page about the artist all included.
*Pick any artist and create a poster and mailing postcard to promote his/her exhibition.

Some are class specific but I would love to hear some ideas also!
