I was thinking of buying this after the beginning of the year. I am planning on buying the body and using my exisiting K-mount lenses. Can someone tell me about this camera? Can I use K-mount lenses?

Thanks. Does that mean it accepts all K mounts, or just Auto Focus. If it needs Auto Focus lenses, then I will have a problem.

I think it has a switch (from what I could tell) that lets you switch from Auto Focus to Manual Focus.
"KAF" probably stands for K mount/ Auto Focus (?)
My daughter has a Pentax 35mm film camera (few years old). Not sure what model it is, but I'll ask her.

Thanks, and I'll do more research. All my lenses are k-mount, but manual focus.

Yes, I saw the brochure. The manual says that you have to use lenses that can be put into the "A" position. None of my lenses have that nor do I really want ones that do. So, I think I'll move on to another type of camera. Thanks for pointing that out.
