What are the favorite websites of the members of this group that give good examples and instruction for painting in acrylics. I have worked in watercolor and like the look of acrylics too...thanks!

If your request went unanswered for this long, it must mean that Wet Canvas is the best and only, right?!

Recently I took a workshop with William Hook who paints in acrylic on canvas. He uses a very direct painting method blocking in most of the values and colors in the first layer, then adding impasto highlights to finish. He doesn't have a website that I can find, but if you do a Google search on his name, you will find several galleries that carry his work. Several of the readily available acrylic instruction books feature his work, too.

When yoou find out let me know. I can only find books that give any real useful technique tips.
