End of October

Finally had a chance to take a good photo of this painting that i did from a PA reference painting at the end of Oct.

The weather has been nasty since then and it has kept me inside and gave me lots of chances to work on this one. Lot of fun. I love the bare trees this time of year, especially the last hour of light. The willows were very vibrant and a little overpowering, like straight from the tube color, amazing!

Nice tree masses. I like your values, and the darks that highlight the trees.

Is this final? :) I wonder if the edges on tree tops, especially the ones against the dark mountain, would benefit from some feathering.
