I like to do scratchboard occassionally. I've done a couple of drawings over the years.
My most recent is a deer from the RIL. The ref was posted on the drawing forum. I just had to give a try with it on scratchboard. I love the lighting in the reference photo.
Here's what I have as of today
Best to you

I agree with Cathy, good start. It sure looks complex. Is it on Claybord? What size is it? What tools are you using?

It is on claybord. I bought a few boards a while back. So far I've liked them.
Image is about 5 X 5 1/2. I've been using an exacto knife and one "scratchboard" tool with a few wires on it.
Here's an update.
Best to you

Lisa it looks to me like you have a nice scratch going there. I just do it occasionally myself but it is fun and a different approach to creating a work of art. Keep up the good work.
