Here's the second in my series inspired by the mighty Sequoias. It's a 16" x 20" - please offer comments & critiques. Thanks!
I love the dappled sunlight! They are giant aren't they?!!
Excellent idea for a series. Nice!

Another beautiful painting!
I have never seen the Sequoias.
I love what you have done with the light through the tall trees....
The placing of the two figures certainly gives way to the majesty of the tree.
for someone like me who has never been there, you certainly captured what I imagine it would be like.

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging comments. I'm glad to have been able to capture a little bit of the feeling of majesty of these gorgeous trees.

Hi, Celeste... Great work you've done. Love it! The majesty of General Sherman is totally awesome, don't you think? ... Think I have a photo of the General taken back in about 1964 from an entirely different angle. I turned my camera skyward and managed to get the trunk and the top of the tree... Gotta find that picture and see if it's a good one to paint! Hey, I'm a new member too. But I'm an wee it older than you! LOL My grandkids call me "Gigi"

Gigi - I got the same shot looking upwards - unlike any other view, isn't it? Thanks for the comments!
