Though I am using Acrylic Ink and Indian ink in my Acrylic work, I am confused about the types of Acrylic inks. I hope someone could clarify
these to me.

Doubts
1) Is Acrylic Ink and Acrlyic Liquid paint same?, If so, can I use either of them to fill Radiograph pen? I see Acrylic Liquid being made by the same companies that make Acrlyc paint tube. If I can use Acrylic Liquid in my
Radiograph pens, then it would be good.

2) Can I use Kohinoor color Inks instead of Acrylic Ink? Which one to
chose? Any suggestions are welcome.

3) Why the names of the colors used in Acrylic Ink are different from that
used for Acrylic Paint tubes? If they had same names to represent the
colors then mixing would have been easy.

At present I use Acrylic Ink made by Liquid AS ART Spectrum

1) No they are not the same. Acrylic inks tend to be more diluted and trasparent than the paint. I would not put it in a Radiograph pen. Firstly the pens are expensive and the acrylic paint if allowed to dry will clog up the pen. You will never get the nib clean again.

2) Probably. Not familiar with Kohinoor inks but if they are like india ink then you should be able to use them.

3) The colours are not identical to the tubes of paint and therefore they have different names.

The FW inks are made for use in pens and air brushes etc - as well as ordinary application - but I'm not familiar with your Radiograph pen - but they can be used in other technical pens.
Most of the inks I use are transparent and have very little, or no, residue. (Fw and Magic Color) ........ sorry, not familiar with the other inks.

I don't use liquid acrylics either, so cannot compare.
I'd suggest you go to the website of your ink maker and ask there. ....... then post the answers here ;)

I have two brands of acrylics inks I use at home. Speedball and Winsor and Newton. I use either old fountain pens, my quill pins or brushes. I do have some Micron color pens, but not very good with them. I love these acrylic inks on my silk or rice papers!! Azure
