I gallery sat for the Fine Arts Show at the Belle Levine Gallery today. I ended up including another sculpture by Paul Yarden this time; pretty soon he's gonna want a commission. LOL ;) The painting behind it is mine, called "Winter Stroll". My first "Gallery Sitting" painting was in oils, so wasn't posted to this forum.

7x5", gouache on Fabriano Artistico hp

I did a couple of sketches there too. 'Might post them tomorrow to my blog if I have a chance to take pics of the sketches.

What a great way to spend your gallery sitting time! I love the comnposition in this how all the rectangles relate to one another, and then the curviness of the sculpted figure provides a foil to all the straight edges.

I missed commenting on this... sorry. :o I always like how you apply your paints and your palette of colors.
