Nice job on these - I think both pieces are successful. I think I'm partial to the pastel study because of the richness of color in the foreground; though it is a good effort on both.

You know Ben, that original has a magic of it's own. It's complete. The larger oil captures that really well. It's a great composition.

These are excellent! A simple open scene done with a great composition and perspective. I really want to know what is beyond that ledge.

Those trees look so fragile and windswept.
