Hi everyone!
This painting is 8x10 acrylic and indian ink.
Curry squash, Turban squash and a yam.

I like it.. the yam kind of looks like a shrimp though, must be the little pic.. but that "eye" follows me!

I really like the lively colors

Tks. dreamz for the comment..
What a vivid imagination you have..
The yam is quite small..
Maybe I should plump it up;-)))
Does the picture look small on your screen?

I love those colors. They make me want to get out all of mine, even though it's time to go to bed.

Such rich colours. I like it a lot.

You might want to touch the pumpkin in the back with some darks to help it sit behind the other two vegetables.

I worked some more on Triple Gems adding more darks here and there. I also too the picture in daylight without flash. The upper left hand corner . At this point I consider it done. Tks for looking and suggestions. Much appreciated:wave:

I consider it done too. The yams stand out better against the background. You just need to sign it :D

The picture is about 6x5" on my monitor, I could of course see it was a sweet tater, but I could also see a large shrimp. (sorta, if I squinted)

We're rather lucky here in that we can catch shrimp in the river and intracoastal, sometime around May they come in to spawn and its not unusual to fill a 5gallon bucket with one castnet toss,(big ones that fill your palm) This time of year they are a bit more sparse and we need to bait them, generally with a can of dog food punched full of holes, even then we're lucky to get 3-5 finger size in a cast, but a lot of small ones that are great for bait....
A plate of shrimp and sweet tater fries is about as close to heaven you can get with yer clothes on:evil:
