Lovely! May I ask why you chose B&W, or why you chose acrylics over charcoal or pencil.I'd love to see how you handle color, because you have a nice hand and your sense of composition is good.

Jackie - acrylic is my recent discovery and this black and white was just play with colors which are not "allowed" in watercolor. I love pencil drawing, but it takes to much time....charcoal is on my "to do" list like many other thins....

Wow! Beautiful piece and wonderfully done!! I concentrate primarily in charcoal and have been planning to sketch a calla lily. Yours is gorgeous!
