Another atmospheric painting Dawn. You obviously use your gouache nice and thick - I can't get out of the habit of trying to use it like watercolour!! Must try harder.

Gary, Connie, Ralph, and Judy, thanks for the lovely comments. I really enjoy experimenting, trying to push it a bit farther, and see a bit differently...
Most of the time I work in oils - I have found water media to be a great teacher.

Nice painting. Good palette. Like looking through a window into the past. It's all pigment: water, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, gouache, and all good.

I like it too. Seems to really show the characteristic of gouache. Opaque, but not completely so... Wonderful use of spontaneous techniques.
