What a fantastic curvey cat - just beautiful! And beautifully executed!
At first I thought it was odd the composition was a bit odd - the cat looking right but the empty space in the frame to the left behind the cat ... but actually I think that adds to the mood of the piece.

I think this piece is fantastic - I love the playfulness and the colours you have chosen.

What a neat idea! It wasn't what I expected from the title. I thought it would be a cat sitting on a rainbow with a pot of gold or something. Colorful, graceful lines and stunning.

ver nice innovative painting:-))))
A simple design but very nicely executed.
Will you do any variations on this theme - lots of possibilities?

ty all, i'm glad you like it as much i liked 2 paint it

yes i'm thinking in making variations of it...what do you sugest???
For variations a few things come to mind:
- different color bars (maybe even bars in shades of grey with the cat in bright rainbow colors)
- try different poses: maybe an arched back and one similar to the first one but with the tail curving over the body; another with a vertical format with the cat from the front.
- I'm also imagining a little bird stuck into the image somewhere.
The variation in thickness of the lines are superb and the colour repetition - very nice design - looks very cool!

I like counterchange and there's lots that can be done with it ...... colour variations and strong contrasts are always good.
