Other than trying Ken Bromley's and Jackson art - and other online art supplies, sorry!
Have you tried Googling 'Large canvases'?
have looked already and googling only turned up stretched canvases or paintings on canvas or too small. neither of the ones you mentioned have any the size I am after eithr unfortunately.
I asked a supplier and they said they have been unable to source any larger than 20x30 themselves

thanks for the sources. they still dont seem to do the size im after but getting there, maybe theres a practical reason not to go over a certain size.
I had a quick look for making my own panels in studio tips but couldnt find anything relevant, probably just me.

I get all my art supplies from Atlantis Art, Its based in Whitechapel, East London but they have a website and online shop/email ordering. The online shop is currently being updated but you can still order by email.
The website is www.atlantisart.co.uk (http://www.atlantisart.co.uk)
prices: 30" x 20" £7.12
30" x 24" £8.57
36" x 24" £10.13
That seems to big as big as they go. I don't know what the quality is like on them, I've used them for a few things and I like them but I am a complete novice. Also if they are able to get them this big they might be able to put you in touch with their supplier, just a thought.
sorry for delay, my 56 hour week other job got in the way.
yes have tried atlantis art and they seem the only ones so far. will make some enquiries.
thanks all for the posts.
