This one was done for a friend. The finished size is 5 by 7 inches. It took me a long time to finish this one, I had to be confident enough to make those broad strokes. :)

Well worth waiting for, Lorene! Don't suppose you'd like a commission for a Cocker Spaniel? :p

I'm still in my "experimental" or "learning" stages, so sure. Send me a picture. I can't guarantee when it'll be done, but I promise I'll give it a go. :) I'm at [email protected]

He really cannot be bothered to pose, so I have no decent pictures of him, but with this offer, I may load up the camera and give it a serious try, Lorene! Maybe if I bake some garlic-cheese biscuits for him...

Wonderful textures - it would be so easy to overdo it but you really control it well. Love the bit of fur flopping just in front of the left eye - gives a wonderful sense of character. Great job! :D

:) If you can, take a pic of high enough quality that the fur can be clearly seen. It really helps me to be able to tell which way the fur is flowing.

My doggie is such a greedy guts that we can tempt her into posing with ANYTHING. The only food she's turned her nose up at is raw potato. :)

This is so well done. :) I admire people who can master this medium.

I love the detail, and the expression you caught on this little fellow. Great job! Is it a Cairn Terrier? I love that breed.

I believe she's a silky terrier. She actually has won Best in Show, she's a purebred showdog but retired now. :)
