Our guild, the Southeast Michigan Glass Beadmakers Guild, has held the "Winter Wonders Holiday Glass Show" for the past 3 years. This year we moved to a larger venue because we outgrew our old one. We have 2 or 3 tables left to fill. THe show is Saturday, Nov. 4th, 10-5 at the Birmingham Unitarian Church in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This is a very upscale area and the show is a reflection of the high-quality work of our guild members, both beads and any kind of finished work that includes their glass work: sculptural, blown, fused, stained glass, jewelry, whatever.

We do lots of PR for this show. We would love to invite a few of you to participate. ll work represented on your table MUST be your own. Most of what you have on the table should include your your own glasswork...meaning if most of your jewelry uses your own glass beads and a few don't, we are not going to make a big deal out of it. The cost for non-guild members is $50 for a table OR you can become a guild member when you apply (for $20) and pay $30 for your table (kind of sneaky way to get memberships! :). There are also options to share a table. If you're interested, the details and application are online at http://glassact.org/forms. The membership application is available there also. A

We only have openings for a few people. If you'd like to participate, please send me an email ([email protected]) to let me know that your entry form is in the mail. Include in your email a high quality jpg of your work that I can include our web page. The ***draft**** page is on our site at http://glassact.org/winterwonders but doesn't have all the folks represented yet, and none of the pictures. I'm working on it!

Please email me if you would like to be included in the show.
