I've got to ask what is on the raft? I like the simplicity of it. Its very dramatic.

It is a beach umbrella. Not shown is a portable shortwave radio and a bar set containing an almost empty bottle of spring water. There is an unconscious woman under the umbrella. The man pours a few drops of the water into the mouth of the woman from time to time but doesn't drink any for himself. He is hallucinating because he is dehydrated.

huh? I've not muddied up my gradients. But if any medium is over worked, you get some undesirable results.

Both moon and sky are great!

No one thinks you've muddied your gradients. I saw some of your work when you posted to the watercolor forum. 'Overworked' means different things for different mediums and techniques. I meant that if I had tried to do with gouache what I did with casein, it would have been an unholy mess.

Gouache is my usual medium, by the way.
