Hey Tressa:wave: thanks for hosting and the great ref pics:thumbsup: well i guess this is where everyone wants to be this w/e sitting in the dock of the bay:music: i have been doing a lot of portraits lately so i thought this would make a nice change although i couldn't resist putting the people in:)
watercolour pad size 15 x 10.5 pretty tight so far it's the only way i know to paint buildings,2 hours up to now, maybe i can have fun and be looser with the water.

Hey Deidre, justean,Rohit and Connie:wave: thanks for looking and your comments, hee he it's not you Dee it's the photo,no tripod so sometimes if i click a bit hard or quick on the shutter it moves, hope this is clearer, have to leave it to dry now before i can go into it again.

Geesh Guilly, you had me worried there with the first shot, thought maybe we had just stepped out of the pub. LOL

I truly love your shanty, trees are great as is the water. You are really moving well with these watercolors.

NOW as to the Ryder, Oh well, there is always next time. By the time I got up this morning it was all over, Robert felt I needed the sleep rather than to watch us lose.

I'm enjoying every part of this. I didn't think I could get enough detail on this image without pen and ink, but yours has a very sharp finish.

I really like your painting, the simplicity of strokes, the freshness of color and the feel of a bright, sunny day.
