I've been pulling my hair out for a long time with this. driving me crazy.
Well, I think I'm finished.
Anyway, thanks for looking and C & Cs are very welcome.
I'm really tired now. ugh.
Hard painting.

Diane - this is really good - you have a great distance in the hills and the village feels like you are high, the textures on the buildings have been well rendered - maybe hair pulling is good for our art... lol

I like your painting with the lovely greens and the warm tones of the buildings. Nice work on that background mountain which adds to the depth. It must have been a challenge painting all those roofs.

I really like the exaggerated perspective of the buildings and your foliage is just great!

Carrie, go to google, and then click on images instead of web. type in italian villages or something. I find lots of free ref. photos. No copywrite. And here on wet canvas. They have wonderful ref. pictures.
