Made it in before the next WDE....done for now  . I may still work on the base and shadows a bit more and maybe do something with the backgroud. Any thoughts about adding colour? I thought I could add some cp in the light green...like the statue...but not too sure. My husband has already claimed this piece for his office. Don't know total hours. more than 6 anyway.

I love this drawing. I do not know if you could improve the drawing much with color. I wonder how the creature looks like with eyes but I am sure you want it to be close to the original. I noticed the flaming mane(?) is enhanced in your drawing. I think the creature looks better in this drawing than the original.

My daughter is totally impressed.

I was thinking the same thing about the eyes....unsure what to do there. When I first started out I was trying to stay close to the original...but as the drawing progressed it seemed to take on a character or it's own. Almost coming to life....kinda creepy, eh? I guess I can make a couple copies and fool around with those. Try out some ideas....but I agree eyes might add something.
