Now, I like this one. First, because it's simple and striking, and has an interesting off-balance kind of balance. Second, because it's my favorite complementary color scheme. Third, because the contrast of the large darkest dark next to the lightest light just always works. Fourth, because of the large, loose brushwork.

This reminds me of a Chinese painting, where around 3/4 of the paper is left empty. I love the beauty and delicacy, simplicity and peace that is evident in that style.

This is a little more active with the brush strokes in evidence, but very good in an original way!
