View Full Version : Just To Say Hello!

I just want to say hello to all of you here at WC. I havent been posting lately, but, the good news is I sold my first painting! and from that painting was generated a request to do a new logo for a business. I have been working on that, and, I've been painting miniature art. A lot of you here are probably familiar with ACEO mini art. 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 paintings, that are collected, traded or sold. I have done a series of them the last 3 weeks and sold all. I have been setting a goal for myself at a painting a day. I have posted a few here as examples of the work i've done and sold.

I greatly enjoy painting these little pieces. I will go back to my large paintings soon, but I'm having too much fun!
Hugs to all!

Hello beankitty, welcome to the forum. Lovely simple paintings, I can see why they sold.

what do you use as a canvas for these mini's? They are all great but I think I like the back view of the flowers the best, its not an angle usually seen in a painting

Hi Dreamz, Thanks for looking at the paintings. They are regular watercolor paper, 140 lb. The only thing about ACEO minis is that you have to measure and cut them out of sheets to 2.5 x 3.5". That is the only rule. It takes awhile, but after cutting one sheet you can get 12 to 18 little cards, all blank and ready for paint! I also want to say thank you for noticing the white daisies. The unusual angles, not only are fun to paint, but seem to be very desired. Have a great day!

Those are great! Do you mind if I ask who buys them and how do you sell them? If that is bad etiquette please forgive me I'm still new.
