View Full Version : Scratchboard - Draft in Harness (x-post A&W)

Well I started this semi-ambitious piece about 3 weeks ago and am pleased with how it turned out. It is only 8"x10" in size, but all that smooth harness work and shiney metal took quite a bit of time. Total time was probably about 30 hours. The entire thing was done with an exacto on Ampersand pre-coated scratchboard. If I can find an appropriate contest to enter it into I may give it a try in some comptition.

I am guessing that that is a horse up close - WOW it is so well done. I sent the link to my sister who loves horses BTW, I am sure she will be impressed too.

I know I gushed about this one on the A&W forum, but *sigh* this board is amazing. The composition, the crop, your skill with the medium - I just love this board.
